Thaw out bread dough overnight.

Beat the dough well in a stand-up mixer.

Add butter a little at a time with the sugar. Beat well.

Add egg yolks one at a time and beat well.

Fold in the whites of eggs.

Add the sultanas and peel

Lightly grease two 2.5 litre kugelhopf or bundt tins. Divide the dough between the tins and leave in a warm, dry place for 30 minutes for it to rise.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean.
